How President Obama Lives In US by Michael Robeson

Our peace loving President, defender of minorities and articulate spokesmen for the American way of life declared on Sunday:

 "There's no country on Earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders....So we are fully supportive of Israel's right to defend itself from missiles landing on people's homes and workplaces and potentially killing civilians....Israel has every right to expect that it does not have missiles fired into its territory."

Thank you, President Drone, for making that clear. Because that means you believe Pakistanis, Yemenis and Afghanis have the right not to tolerate American missiles raining down on them every day and that they too have the right to defend themselves, even disproportionately, against Americans whose tax dollars are paying for the attacks.

Under dictatorships, people have no say in their leader's actions, have no power to change their leader's behavior by free elections and so cannot be held legally or morally responsible for their leaders criminal behavior.

In America's democracy, citizens have the power to change their leader's behavior and freely elect the leaders who best represent their democratically expressed convictions. But if a Paki/Yemi/Afghani attacked a voting and tax paying American, it would be considered an act of terrorism against an innocent civilian.

President Obama is truly a President for all Americans, regardless of race, color creed or intellectual and emotional immaturity. For how many of us truly believe that we are not innocent? How many of us can recognize the double standards that live in us, much less elect leaders who point them out?
